E-mail:[email protected] Abstract: The waveguide structure designs of broadband optical directional couplers (ODC’s) based on sin-square (SWF) and raised-cosine (RWF) weighting functions are investigated. The objective of the work includes in the new design of adiabatic directional full couplers can obtain respectively theory ranges, low noise, large frequency and short couplers. It is surely that the proposed waveguide structure design is more effective than convention weighting for ODC’s.
